The QuickLift facelift is a minimally invasive procedure that can address visible signs of aging in the mid to lower region of the face. This procedure is ideal for men and women who want to look like themselves ― just more youthful, rested and refreshed. This can usually be done in the office with local anesthesia and oral sedation. Check out the QuickLift official website and Dr. Neal’s Before and After QuickLift results page.
A full facelift removes excess skin that causes wrinkles and tightens the underlying tissues in the lower face and neck. This is also combined with liposuction, which results in tighter, smoother skin. Some patients opt to have it done under general anesthesia at the surgery center which adds to the cost and is particularly required in patients with very heavy jowls and neck.
A mini lift can be done in the office with minimal local anesthesia and often without any sedation. This is best done on younger patients or with those who have had a prior lift.
An eyelid tuck (blepharoplasty) involves removing excess eyelid skin. This can be cosmetic and functional. It is especially helpful with those who look tired all the time from bulging fat in the lower lids or drooping upper eyelids which hang down over the eye.
Cosmetic Nasal Surgery
Commonly referred to as a “nose job,” this can be performed to meet aesthetic goals or for reconstructive purposes to correct trauma, birth defects or breathing problems. Purely cosmetic rhinoplasties are not covered by insurance.
Chin implants are inserted under the skin and on the bony chin to provide a better balanced facial proportion. This is commonly used in conjunction with a rhinoplasty to balance the face when the nose seems too big for such a small chin.
Protruding Ear Correction
This involves reshaping the outer ear to achieve better-looking ears.
Forehead and Brow Lifts
A forehead or brow lift is similar to a facelift because it removes excess skin that causes wrinkles. The procedure and results are local to only the area of the forehead and eyebrows. This is usually done in the office in conjunction with a QuickLift for practical economy but can be done by itself by a variety of methods. Consult with Dr. Neal for more details.
Mole and Blemish Removal
Unsightly moles and blemishes are removed quickly in the office, almost painlessly and with minimal scarring.
Scar revision can reduce the appearance of unsightly scars significantly. Every scar will need its own specific analysis.
Botox is used to smooth facial wrinkles temporarily. This requires no surgery or recovery time. An improvement can be seen within days when the muscles relax but requires months for the wrinkles to disappear totally. Dr, Neal recommends injecting Botox three times the first year. After that, injections should take place as the patient thinks the returning wrinkles need more.
Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring molecule in the human body. It helps provide the fullness and elasticity to our skin. Babies have a tremendous amount in their skin, but it diminishes over time. This causes the skin to lose volume and increase the chances for wrinkles and folds to appear. Nonsurgical results are immediate and usually last up to six months. These are the products to add volume conservatively to the lips.
Smooth the “parenthesis” lines on the sides of your nose and mouth. This method offers immediate and natural-looking results. It is also United States Food and Drug Administration-approved.
This is dermal filler that stimulates the body to produce new collagen. It is best used in deep augmentation of significant volume loss in the face, something that occurs in all of us as we age. This is not an invasive surgery. It can be used in hollow cheeks or deep creases and is put into the face with modern blunt cannulas, which don’t puncture blood vessels with almost no bruising. This procedure is virtually painless and takes only minutes to complete.
